POINT TO OUR WEBSITE AND OUR VIDEOS
It is important that you understand the law, we can’t make therapeutic claims. Therapeutic claims are claims that a product can diagnose, prevent, treat or cure a disease. Please be clear that these products are not medicines, they aren’t intended to diagnose, prevent, treat or cure any disease. Our products support the body in its normal processes to promote balance and wellness, and support the body to break down certain toxins. This is quite different to treating diseases. It is against the law to make a therapeutic claim about a product that isn’t a medicine. This is why our videos, webpage and marketing materials are very carefully worded, and we ask you to use our marketing materials and not create your own.
You agree in terms and conditions not to make therapeutic claims. You are allowed to talk about what the product did for you and your friends personally, but no claims or promises relating to disease or illness for other people. Promote the products by referring to our webpage, videos and marketing materials. We can’t make a claim or promise or suggestion that our products will diagnose, prevent, treat or cure a disease. They aren’t intended to do that, they are intended to support wellness.

Saying the wrong thing can get us all in legal trouble.
You can’t claim that these pills cure Asthma, Bronchitis, Covid, or even diagnose or prevent these disease conditions. You can’t say that it has a physiological effect like increasing heart rate. That might be considered a therapeutic claim and therefore against the Medicines Act. For this reason we don’t normally speak about treating or curing diseases like ‘Alzheimers’ or ‘Bronchitis’ or ‘Covid’ when we talk about what our products do.
We are marketing dietary supplements. These are foods which supplement the diet to support wellness. It is important to note that these are not medicines. Medicines are products promoted to diagnose, treat or cure diseases. We are not in the business of disease, we are supporting wellness.
It is not allowable to make any claim that a supplement can diagnose, treat or cure a disease.
We talk instead about what the body’s normal processes are for breaking down toxins and how our products support those normal processes. We talk about our body’s systems and how they can be supported by the right supplements. We talk about which systems rely on NAD+ and how consuming NAD+ related products can support those systems to function normally.
Making any other claims is not permissible in New Zealand law (and most other countries)
This is why our terms and conditions you agreed not to make therapeutic claims. Don’t create your own marketing materials for the products or make any claims unless you are a health practitioner with your own evidence to back up your claim and you have checked it with us first. Remember that XTRALIFE, SPIKE DETOX and REWIND are registered trademarks of Xtralife Health Science Limited so we ask you to seek our permission before using them, so we can be sure we are inside the law.
