Crystal Clear Mind

Scientific Breakthroughs in Brain Detox!

Do you want a sharp, clear mind?

Do you sometimes feel your brain is slow, fuzzy, or stressed?

This happens to many of us as we get older, because of different things that can harm your brain cells, like toxin build-up, inflammation, and lack of oxygen. These things can make it harder for you to think, remember, and feel good. But you can do something about it. You can feed your brain with the right nutrients that can help your brain scrape off the plaque, make more thought highways, get more oxygen, and balance your brain chemicals. These nutrients can make your brain work better, happier, and healthier.

We call this the “Crystal Clear Mind Combo”, a special mix of natural supplements that can help you get a crystal clear mind. Keep reading down the page to learn the science on how this combo can help your brain and how you can get yours today.

Three Critical Ingredients:

      • THE ‘AGE DEFYING FOUNTAIN OF YOUTH’ (NMN & NR)

supports DNA repair, brain energy supply and sirtuin activation
    (better thinking and memory making)

      • THE ‘QUEEN OF LONGEVITY’ (QUERCETIN)

supports removal of dead cell buildup, toxin clearing and BDNF for stronger neurons and neuroplasticity
    (adaptation and new connections)

      • THE ‘VERSATILE DEFENDER’ (NAC)

supports stress relief, memory and learning,
    (and mood and motivation)

THE ‘AGE DEFYING FOUNTAIN OF YOUTH’ (NMN & NR)

(found in REWIND)

Nicotinamide mononucleotide (NMN) and Nictonamide Riboside (NR) are two ingredients that increase levels of a vital enzyme called NAD+. Boosting NAD+ levels improves brain function by enhancing several processes that are essential for healthy neurons and cognition. Some of these processes are:

      • DNA repair:

NAD+ is required for the activity of enzymes called PARPs, which fix DNA damage caused by oxidative stress, inflammation, or other factors. 1 DNA damage can impair the function and survival of brain cells, leading to neurodegeneration and cognitive decline. 2

      • Energy metabolism:

NAD+ is involved in the production of ATP, the main energy source for cells, especially in the mitochondria. 3 Mitochondria are the powerhouses of the cell, and they are abundant in neurons, which have high energy demands. Dysfunctional mitochondria can cause neuronal death and impair synaptic transmission, affecting learning and memory. 4

      • Sirtuin activation:

NAD+ is a cofactor for a family of enzymes called sirtuins, which regulate gene expression, inflammation, stress resistance, and cellular lifespan. 5 Sirtuins have been shown to protect neurons from oxidative stress, inflammation, and apoptosis, as well as to modulate synaptic plasticity, neurogenesis, and memory formation. 6

‘THE QUEEN OF LONGEVITY’ (QUERCETIN)

(found in Spike Detox)

Quercetin was first discovered by Albert Szent-Györgyi who discovered Vitamin C, and called Vitamin P ( for permeability) partly because it travels right inside your brain. It is thought to improve brain function by changing the way your brain cells communicate (modulating neurotransmitters) and how they adapt to new information (called ‘synaptic plasticity’). It may also prevent or delay the onset of Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s diseases by reducing amyloid plaque formation and neurotoxicity. 7

      • Clears senescent cells

Aging is partly caused by cellular senescence, a buildup of cells that have stopped growing and dividing but remain in the body, causing inflammatory damage to neighboring cells and tissues.  An accumulation of senescent cells is thought to be a large part of the aging puzzle—and quercetin may be able to help clear them naturally, inspiring a new class of drugs called ‘senolytics’. 8

      • Supports Cognition

Quercetin is an anti-oxidant that enters the brain reducing oxidative stress and buildup of reactive oxygen species (ROS), linking the compound to improved brain health and cognition. 9

      • Increases neuroplasticity

Lastly, a study in mice showed that Quercetin increased the levels of three proteins that are involved with cognition—brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF), nerve growth factor (NGF), and postsynaptic density protein-95 (PSD95). This trio of compounds is essential for the growth, survival and maintenance of neurons and helps strengthen neuroplasticity—the brain’s ability to grow and adapt by forming new neural connections. 10

THE ‘VERSATILE DEFENDER’ (N-ACETYLCYSTEINE)

(found in Spike Detox)

N-acetylcysteine (NAC) replenishes the body’s powerhouse antioxidant glutathione, and regulates the brain’s thinking juice, the ‘spark’ neurotransmitter glutamate. NAC may have some impact benefits for mental clarity, such as:

    • Lowering stress.

NAC can help reduce the damage caused by reactive oxygen species (ROS), which are molecules that can harm your cells and tissues when they are too high. ROS can also increase inflammation and oxidative stress, which can impair your brain function and mood. NAC, (like Quercetin) can help lower ROS levels and protect your brain from stress 11

    • Enhancing memory and learning.

NAC can help modulate glutamate levels in the brain, which are important for cognitive processes such as memory and learning. Glutamate is the main excitatory neurotransmitter in the brain, but too much or too little of it can cause problems. NAC can help balance glutamate levels and prevent excitotoxicity, which is a condition where excess glutamate damages the brain cells. 12 13

    • Improving mood and motivation.

NAC can also affect dopamine levels in the brain, which are involved in reward, motivation, and pleasure. Dopamine is another neurotransmitter that can be affected by glutamate and ROS. NAC can help increase dopamine levels and activity in the brain, which may improve mood and motivation. 14
